Essential vs Premium vs Elite: Which Full Detail Package Do You Actually Need
What actually changes between a $249, $359, and $479 full detail, and how to pick the right tier the first time based on how your car really lives.

The short answer: Essential at $249 is a thorough reset for a car that gets regular care, Premium at $359 adds the deep extraction and paint decontamination most family vehicles actually need, and Elite at $479 adds machine polishing and a 12-month ceramic spray coat for owners who want the car protected, not just clean. Most first-time customers with kids, pets, or two years since the last detail belong in Premium.
Here is what changes at each price point, so you book the right tier the first time.
Essential at $249: The Reset
Full Detail Essential covers both sides of the car properly. Inside: full vacuum, wipe down of every surface, and all windows cleaned inside and out. Outside: a premium hand wash and tire shine. Sedan pricing starts at $249, SUVs at $289, and 3-row vehicles at $329.
Book Essential when the car is fundamentally in good shape. If you detailed within the last year, nobody eats in the car, and the paint feels smooth when you run a hand over it, Essential brings it back to clean without paying for extraction you do not need.
Premium at $359: What Most Cars Actually Need
Premium is our most-booked full detail, and the gap between it and Essential is bigger than the $110 suggests. Inside, it adds steam cleaning and shampoo extraction, which is the difference between a vacuumed carpet and a carpet with two years of ground-in Houston living pulled out of it. Leather gets conditioned instead of just wiped.
Outside is where Premium earns it. The paint gets a clay bar treatment that strips the bonded contamination a wash cannot touch, then a 6-month paint sealant goes on top. Wheels get a deep clean and dressing. Sedans run $359, SUVs $409, 3-rows $449.
The honest test: drag your fingertips across the hood after a wash. If it feels gritty instead of glassy, that grit is bonded contamination, and Premium's clay bar step is the one that removes it.
Elite at $479: Clean Plus Protected
Elite includes everything above and then changes category. The interior gets an ozone and enzyme treatment that eliminates odors at the source instead of covering them, plus a full trunk detail. The paint gets a 1-step machine polish that removes light swirls before a ceramic spray coat goes on, good for 12+ months of protection. Engine bay detail is included. Sedans $479, SUVs $529, 3-rows $599.
Elite is the right call in three situations: you just bought the car used and want a true reset, you are keeping the car and want real protection without stepping up to a full ceramic coating, or there is an odor problem that a shampoo alone will not solve.
The Decision in Three Questions
When was the last real detail? Under a year, Essential holds. One to three years, Premium. Never, or you just bought it used, Elite.
Does the paint feel rough? Rough paint means bonded contamination, which means Premium at minimum. Visible swirls under sunlight point to Elite, or to a dedicated paint correction if they are deep.
Kids, pets, or daily commuting? Extraction is non-negotiable, so start at Premium. Add an odor issue and it is Elite.
Every tier is mobile. We come to your driveway or office anywhere in our service area with water and power onboard, and the full pricing table for every vehicle size is on the pricing page.
If you are still between two tiers, send us a photo of the interior and the hood in sunlight. We will tell you which one fits, and we would rather book you into the cheaper tier that solves your problem than upsell a package you do not need. Call or text (281) 584-3896.
Frequently asked questions
The $249 Essential is a thorough clean: full vacuum, interior wipe down, windows, hand wash, and tire shine. The $359 Premium adds steam cleaning and shampoo extraction inside, leather conditioning, a clay bar decontamination of the paint, a 6-month sealant, and a wheel deep clean. If the car has kids, pets, or more than a year since its last detail, the extraction and clay bar are what you are actually paying for.
The Elite at $479. A used car carries the previous owner history, and Elite is the only tier with an ozone and enzyme treatment that neutralizes odors at the source, plus a 1-step polish and 12-month ceramic spray coat that reset and protect the paint.
Yes. Sedan prices are $249, $359, and $479 by tier. SUVs run $289, $409, and $529, and 3-row or XL vehicles run $329, $449, and $599. The booking page shows exact pricing for your vehicle size before you commit.
